Merge and split
your PDFs.
Several documents into one, or a few pages pulled out of a big file. Nothing is uploaded: everything happens on your machine.
Nothing is uploaded. Your files are read from your disk, processed in memory and given straight back. Cut your connection after loading this page: the tool still works.
Frequently asked questions
Are my documents uploaded somewhere?
No. Everything happens inside your browser: the file is read from your disk, processed in memory and given back to you. Nothing is sent to a server, nothing is stored, and the tool keeps working if you cut your internet connection after loading the page.
Is there a size or page limit?
No quota and no account. The only real limit is your device: everything is processed in memory, so a very large document can be heavy on an old phone. Above 100 MB the tool warns you rather than freezing.
Can it compress a PDF?
No, and we would rather say so plainly. This tool rearranges pages; it does not re-encode the images inside them, which is where the weight sits. A tool promising compression and not delivering it is worse than no tool at all.
Can it convert a PDF to Word?
No. That requires reconstructing a document from a page layout, which needs a server and, honestly, a good deal of luck. This tool stays on what a browser does well.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, on both merging and splitting. Only very large documents can be a problem, for the memory reason above.
